Identification of cloth

Objective: At the end of this exercise you shall be able to
• identify given fabric.

Requirements
Materials
• Cotton cloth - as reqd. • Pashmina cloth - as reqd.
• Raffal cloth - as reqd. • Semi pashmina cloth - as reqd.
• Toosha cloth - as reqd. • Shahtoosh cloth - as reqd.

PROCEDURE

Instructor may give the sample of all type of cloth to the trainees in the class room and ask them to
check the type of cloth as per the task given
TASK 1: Identify the given fabric

1 Check the given fabric softness, absorption and 2 Verify the following condition YES/ NO to confirm the
transparency and fill the following Table 1. fabric is cotton if all conditions are YES then it should
be the cotton.
